Baguadao (Originally called as 'Guoshi Yezhanbafanfdao'- Eight directions saber in the night battle) is the most unique and important weapon in the Liupai Guo style Baguazhang. Always Master Guo ZY sald that if you heard the sounds like 'clink' while you are practicing with your brothers, then it's not already 'Baguadao', so you need to be careful to do not touch opponents' blade with yours... later
The length of Bagudao is about 4.6 ft (4.2 Che - the grip is 1.2 ft and the blade is 3.4 ft) and the weights are different as follows diciples each other like 3.9 lb(3 Jin), 6.6 lb(5 jin) and 9.3 lb(7 jin) more, etc.
